Wilder thought he was the next big name and Brewster thought he would be the main man. Sheffield had a great season 19/20 and at the time it looked like a good move. It hasn't worked out that way.if he did he obviously hadn't seen them play . I failed to see how it was a good choice in anything but financial terms as i was sure he wouldn't get many goals purely because they create so few chances though not sure anyone could have predicted the disaster it has become .

See Bayern hiring Nagalsmann in record deal for around €25m. Big money for a manager. Pressure is going to be on to make sure not only wins the league every year but wins the CL with it as well.
feel like most managers could do the league and off cup over there so really you’re paying for someone to win you the big one.
He's improved both teams he's been at and he's got the ego to manage Bayern, so he could be a success. He'll be out the door soon enough if he isn't.i wasn't exactly impressed with his leipzig so lets see what he does with better players. it might be a bit too soon for him.

10 goals in half a season at Swansea. He's certainly capable.championship player in the championship. stands to reason he will get 10-15 goals.

In principle he could be there for the next 30 or 40 years![]()

To be fair, they normally don't bother and go for others. So Bayern not only buy the best players from rivals but they also get the best talented managers from their rivals...
Yeah the squad is a bit of a mix with some older players but also loads of younger ones. How he reshapes the squad to replace players like Lewandowski and by the looks of it Alaba, as well as what money/players the board give him, will be key. I wasn't expecting Chupo-Moting to rock up there. Its a tough one.
Ego is one thing, making a big makes out of inexperience is another.
You could look at rodgers and think he wasn't ready for LFC. we and Celtic in effect taught him certain things. he was lambasted for fixing his teeth, tanning and ieting form the time he started to when he finished with us. He made bad buys and tactically wants right.
he has rounded out a bit since though tactically i still wonder.
Nagalsmann can't claim success by winning domestic trophies but he can get the sack by not doing it. He has to get that bayern side back to the top of europe I suppose. I didn't see much v us to suggest he was capable of changing his side to suit, but then again he was robbed of his best striker and pace so he had few options.
At bayern he will start with a LOT of player egos. but also a very "mature squad" how he reshapes the tactics and who the board hand him as players will be key.
So Bayern not only buy the best players from rivals but they also get the best talented managers from their rivals...
Year after year too. Take the best players and managers from all their rivals. They didn't need the super league
