So if Johnson is found to have made serious indiscretions and they are on these recordings.. what happens

a) he is actually held account and reprimanded/removed accordingly

b) It will be explained anything.. no matter how many, we’re out of context

c) We will be told all of them are as bad as each other... despite these things not happening to other party leaders

d) People will say they are bored of it and don’t care

e) Starmer is an ineffective party leader... although that’s not the issue

f) but Labour .. Corbyn .. Abbot .. Blair

He can’t use those recordings (if he actually has any) especially if it was a private meeting. He will get gagged at some point.

Oh I'm sure he will and even if he does get gagged then that just highlights johnsons guilt and opens up a whole new debate on accountability and transparancy.
 
So if Johnson has done some seriously dodgy ****... a gagging order overrides this? Johnson must be pissing himself that he can pretty much get away with anything
 
So we need proof that Johnson has done these things...

Oh actually any evidence you could provide is subject of a gagging order... so unless Johnson owns up, yeah stop laughing, there isn’t anything you can do so he’s off Scott free and his guilt doesn’t matter.

Evening Jeff. Hope you’re well.

I doubt anyone has forgotten about the pandemic. Ideally his performance regarding that would’ve led to him being dragged through the streets by an angry mob and nobody would know that he and his latest squeeze are horrified by John Lewis furniture but we are where we are.

I reckon it would matter to a few of the bereaved family members Jeff, I know it certainly would if I had lost someone close. As for the rest of the ****e, surely its important to have an honest, reliable, considerate leader full of integrity to see us through this pandemic or is it better to have a lying, corrupt bullshitter?

That doesn’t prove anything. If someone is in a private government meeting they shouldn’t be recording anything. It goes down on the minutes. TBH I think it’s all bollox anyway. Only people interested are the usual anti government voices. Same old.

Agree Jeff the vast majority of the country are not interested.

30 thousand sounds like a lot of money to do up a flat
would have done mine five times over
but considering you could get turfed out the following week why would you want to spend your own money doing it up
is there no fund for this sort of stuff

People just want to get back to some sort of normality. They are not really interested in decorations or words ( if said) that may/may not have been said out of frustration. The governments roll out is bloody brilliant and saved many lives. Just check the Euro stats of late to see how fab we are doing.

My partner lost her uncle. Too young to die from Covid but as a family they don’t blame anyone. It is a pandemic and sadly people will die. By the way most of that side of the family are Labour. The government didn’t give him underlying problems. In 2014/15 50k died of flu and no one ever worried about it, other than families loved ones. Was the government to blame for those deaths as well?

Most folk understand this is a pandemic and people will die. There has been failings like in every other country but some like you just want to politicise everything. That’s fine but you are in a small minority.

And there you go... and people wonder why there is corruption.. because they’re ****s and the apathy allows it. Personally I’m still a touch pissed at the billions spaffed up the wall for a track and trace system. A rather **** track and trace system.

hey kiwi, he's allowed to do up his flat up to a sum of 30k.

He's supposedly spaffed 200k to do it so had to get some additional funding somewhere.

Probably when he handed out the billions in track and trace

Can you even begin to imagine the reaction if Corbyn or Starmer had made half the “mistakes” he has? I appreciate there are a lot of kowtowing serfs who will find a way to justify their hero’s performance throughout this.
