No, you really wouldn't. You're just saying that you want to play in a **** league because it's where you are.
There were more people at Wembley for our game, too.
As for being a plastic, I'm from North London, I support the local side and I'm a season-ticket holder.

Football exists outside of the Premier League, just not at Charlton.

Why do you assume that everyone wants or needs PL football?
I’m more than happy watching Charlton in the lower leagues and frankly couldn’t care less if they never play in the PL again.
Where you live and whether you have a season ticket is irrelevant. The plastic comment is around you dismissing any team or success, whilst trying to big up the failures that are the spuds.

Id rather we miss out completely tbh. 8th will do.

You peasants can bask in the glory of the Europa conference for a season if ya like good luck to ya<whistle>
Speaking personally I'd rather West Ham were in the conference cup rather than Europa league next season.

For the sake of compromise can we agree that both your clubs are ****.

I haven't dismissed lower league teams. I've dismissed the play-off trophy as actual silverware, because it isn't. It's laughable.
It's like celebrating the Intertoto Cup. It's a means to an end. You didn't do better than the team that finished 2nd that year.

A trophy is a trophy, which is even more sweeter when it’s won at Wembley. Of course the winning at Wembley is not something you spuds are ever likely to enjoy based on recent performances.

I've watched Spurs beat Real Madrid at Wembley in the Champions League.

But it was silverware, that’s a fact. It was a nice shiny cup to go in out trophy cabinet. It was a presented because, unlike the spuds, we achieved something that season. Not sure why you find this hard to accept.

I’m finding this funny. Poor old HSE poll is getting all spunky because little old Charlton have actually won a pot at Wembley in the last couple of years. I’m sure there’s real tears coming from my IPad <laugh>

No disrespect to Chartlon, but a Spurs fan arguing about Wembley trophies and losing to a Charlton fan is funny.

Levels <laugh>

It's ****ing laughable, much like your attempts to laud City beating us over our heads when you lost at home to Peterborough on the weekend.
Must be a delusional South London thing, I guess. Either that or an ex-Premier League club problem. Still bitter about being relegated repeatedly, I guess.

less games against weaker opposition, can blood the youngsters in something more meaningful than the reserve league and that crappy L2/L1 cup, and it's a cup we could win. The financial gains of the Europa league aren't worth the hassle unless it gets you in the CL, and we wouldn't win it.

Why not do the same thing in the EL. Then if you make it out of qualification start to brink in the big players.

We only got one trophy this year, ending Liverpool’s season cup. It came right after they lost to Villa in the hyped up cup.
