Its impossible not to have growth after a virtual shut down.

Someone seems to believe the opposite, as I said 'record growth' will happen after a shrinking of almost 10%. Growth is good as I said earlier. New jobs, more money to spend

Already have to adverts for engineers approved and top level sign off. So that's just one UK firm setting on, demand is already outstripping supply it seems.

I guess it is industry dependent. I was asked to take a 10% reduction in hours/pay. But at year end I had worked usual hours and company performed as well as usual so had 10% repaid. Some others have been less fortunate and have really struggled. This proposed growth is welcomed news, maybe late for many high street workers though

And the Tory's go marching ON ON ON

The UK economy is set to grow at its fastest rate on record this year, experts have predicted.

The EY Item Club has upgraded its 2021 growth forecast from 5% to 6.8%, which would mark the fastest rate seen since 1973.

Chief economic advisor Howard Archer said the economy had "proven to be more resilient than seemed possible".

The vaccine rollout and relaxed restrictions had helped the recovery, it said.

I fear you are becoming increasingly estranged from reality.

Oh...

Boris Johnson has denied saying he would rather see "bodies pile high in their thousands" than have another COVID lockdown.

The prime minister rebuffed newspaper allegations that he had made the comments in October, just prior to England's second national lockdown.

The Daily Mail on Monday reported that Mr Johnson exclaimed after a Number 10 meeting at the time: "No more ****ing lockdowns - let the bodies pile high in their thousands!"
