... on promotion back to Championship, one of the most compelling leagues in world football.

I'd buy every one of you a round, but since I live 7,863 kilometers from your favorite pub you'll have to take a rain check. Still, let me know what you're having. I'll start with my go-to BBQ beer, Shiner Bock.

Not had that Tex, had to look it up but sounds good
Today’s smiling, relaxed, promoted tipples have been Peroni and Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve scotch.
Hope you’re well over there

That's a nice Malt Whisky, distilled in Pitlochry, which happens to be my favourite retreat(camping or static caravan on the Faskally site).

If you ever get the chance head out of town 2 miles and visit the Edradour Distillery...It's the smallest Distillery in Scotland and produces a beautiful malt:emoticon-0148-yes:

Yeah might get up that way in summer.
Going up to Inverkeithing next month so might have a look around Fife .
Any small distilleries there you know of ?

Hate whiskey with a passion, rum man myself
We had a few days on the banks of lock Awe a few years ago and my son in law asked me to get him a single malt. This is what I got him from a place next to loch Faye...

My rum of choice. Pussers ordinary blue label is also great.
