I think the first time Kasper touched the ball was the 44th minute. 3-0 is a fair score line. West Brom are awful.

The Law is actually clear....moving towards the ball isn't penalised but being in the line of sight is. I think both decisions were correct.
"A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched*
by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:
    • interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by
    a team-mate or
    • interfering with an opponent by:
    • preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by
clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or
    • challenging an opponent for the ball"

I remember a few years back in the season that Frank Lampard played for Citeh, he was standing offside right in front of Hugo when a goal went in. Oddly enough, it was allowed.

He attempts to play the ball as the keeper saves it, to the point that Areola's hand misses his foot by inches:
"clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent"

And he's directly between the keeper and the goalscorer when he puts it in:
"a player moving from, or standing in, an offside position is in the way of an opponent and interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball this is an offside offence if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball; if the player moves into the way of an opponent and impedes the opponent's progress (e.g blocks the opponent) the offence should be penalised under Law 12"

He's also in the keeper's view and close to him, so the same thing that Moura did, though it's really vaguely worded.

    That own goal... <doh>

They've now failed to score in 8 of their home games this season. Didn't play today but to think they've got a striker earning £300k a week, brilliant lol.

    Why are Arsenal so s***?
The problem used to be the defence.
But now they struggle to score goals despite (on paper) having a very strong front six (and reserve options). What’s the problem now?
Arsenal doing poorly under Wenger was perennially finishing 3rd or 4th. This season they’ll do well to finish in the top half!!

As a few of their fans have noted, there's a reason why Tierney and Saka stand out in matches: because they're the only players who move on a regular basis

Arteta's setup is so focused on positioning that he hasn't had time to consider maybe players can move from those positions if they have the ball
