Just heard the Football League Show pundits deliberating as to whether Hull are the new Blackpool.

This coming at the same time as people are asking whether Blackpool are the new Hull.

So Blackpool to stay up on the last day of the season and us to beat Cardiff at Wembley?
 
It's embarrassing the lack of vocabulary and use of imagination that football pundits, managers and players alike have when it comes to describing the beautiful game. Everything is always compared to something else and even the foreign managers end up spitting out the ridiculous sayings that we come up with.

The BBC pay that commentator good money to provide his thoughts on the Manchester Derby today and what does he come up with when Rooney bangs in the winner.

Match of the day isn't much better anymore, Hanson Shearer and Lawrence are about as exciting as a rainy day in Cleethorpes.

Planets actually aliening 21. 12 .12 re 2012 end of world bull. Personally that will be the day City beat Man u 5 -0 away at old trafford announcing the dawn of a new football age.
