Fulham got to the final. That's the beauty of cup competitions.
I think a couple of the clubs that you beat have since gone under. Too many dodgy owners around.

This isn't a competition on who's done what specifically it's that these moments are rare and they matter. All the clubs fans matter and they all care about their clubs just as much. I'm genuinely devastated about this situation and what it means for us all.

It means the game will be ****ed, at least for a while.
No idea who these clubs think will be going to games, as it's not going to be the people that are now.
I'll be off to watch some lower league sides, if it does go through.

I personally think one of the six in England will pull out. And they will apologise and say they didn’t really think about the impact and consequences.

When this happens, initially THAT team will be deemed the sensible one and will get the plaudits. I personally think it will be Man City.

However there still has to be some punishment.

Nah mate that would be called crying.

Trust me. I have numerous threads to prove it, the death of the European Cup being the latest. :bandit:

@Sheikh_of_Araby ive just posted this. I hadn’t seen your post in the nufc channels.

I hadn’t even realised that Pep was against it.

I think they where pressured by manu and Liverpool.

I hope it doesn't happen mate.. It's been really a joy to see the reaction of fans in and outside the clubs involved.

It shows there's still something left in the sport worth fighting for despite a belief its been dead for years imo

    It's still there

I don't think that one will. It'll either be multiple sides or it'll stick.

I think it will be Man City and Chelsea. Last in, first out. Don't need the money the Super League are offering like Spurs, Barça and Real Madrid do. I think Man City and Chelsea just followed the Pied Piper because they didn't want to feel left out of the Big Boys' Club but this is definitely Perez and the Glazers' scheme, not theirs.

Man City are not owned by yanks. It’s the yanks that’s driving this.

I think Man City will be the most likely to drop out first.

Guardiola's press interview was more hostile to it than Klopp's. Klopp minced his words a bit and deflected by whinging about Gary Neville, whataboutery regarding Sky's hypocrisy, Leeds' t-shirts and Scousers taking the banners down at Anfield.

Regardless, it shouldn't be down to the managers and players to be put in an awkward decision to defend this ****e in the first place. Aside from Perez, who's just an arrogant ****, the other owners are too bollockless to speak to the press about it.

    Klopps a ****ing fanny

proven it plenty this year, he talks big but only because he's absolutely petrified of his employers and his squad turning on him. Loves to try and boss around Sheffield Utd and stuff, but when something he fundamentally disagrees with happens he's erming and slurming gurning and worming his way through every sentence looking for an escape plan.

"I agree with what I said two years ago on the matter but we'll have to wait until we hear more about it"

"Also, the Leeds fans were mean to us on the team coach and the Leeds players were mean to us with their t-shirts. Also, Gary Neville mocked our anthem"

They seem to have missed the rise of the internet (cable, fanzines - streaming, forums), but other than that...
