3) played for both city and stockport, meaning our scouts have seen him and don't rate him
4) only half a season in the prem
5) the dippers were interested in signing him as backup = europey league standard or worse

i'm guessing arsenal's style of trying to pass it into the net probably gives him a good oppotunity for some easy saves.

 

He's a decent keeper but probably no better than what we already have, and as somone has already pointed out he's played for Stockport so our scouts probably have had a look and said "no ta".

 

That's what they said about Bosnich and Taibi. When you're the biggest club in England, you can't afford to take a punt with the GK position. Other positions yes, but not in goal.
