Not really, still better than most have done. I got the impression today that domestic cups mean nothing to Pep at this stage, he more or less has the league wrapped up and the only other thing that interests him is the CL. Once he has the CL he may start looking at trebles/quadruples in the future.
It was a strong side The money they spend on that club, I'd want every cup available, as he probably does. He looked stumped, out of ideas and a bit lost tbh.
Think he missed a couple of tricks ... Foden completely galvanised them ... and Mahrez is capable of turning Chilwell into knots ... as he did whenever we played them ... Stirling was woeful ...
Nah, the league is won and it was a semi final against a big team. If he was arsed he would have put the first team out not 8 second choice but he's saving them for the CL.
League wrapped up a month ago. LC final to look forward to, CL Semi is without his biggest focus. this was a game I am sure they won’t mind losing if the van make the CL final.
Thats why I dont get why he rested so many players. He'd have been better off resting them against Villa, who are in free fall at the moment. Even if they got a draw against Villa, it wouldn't have been the end of the world.
Obvs I would much prefer to play the saints, but you never know. Cant see Leicester losing tomorrow tho.
If Saints get through I think it could be an upset like But im scared for @Libby and his liver if it happens so, pray for it not to happen
nothing personal fam...if I believed you had it in you to beat the chavs...I’d be rooting for you. I mean maybe you are their hoodoo team or something, tell me...I can still change my mind
2 draws with them this season. Would have won the second match had Ings not given a stupid penalty away. It's happening.
