The idea that anyone on here wants their club to fail just so their opinion is proved to be correct is ****ing ridiculous.

Everyone, every last one on here wants their club to win every game.People are wrong sometimes and they're happy to be wrong.

It's not rocket science, it's human nature. I don't rate Tom Eaves for instance, but should he score a hat trick today I'll be extatic and I'll dof my cap.

If Terry takes us to the Premier league, I'll demand he gets the freedom of the City.

If we just ignore what we see on the pitch and say everyone at Hull City is the best, then what is the point of a forum. What would there be to discuss?
Don't you go making a real mess up and forecast a win today Den!!!

Stick to what's working :1980_boogie_down:

How would you feel if you were back at Wembley and when Aaron Ramsey scores that goal the bloke next to you in a city shirt starts laughing and says oh that’s such **** defending I’m embarrassed we are ****

what would you do kemps? Laugh along?

Chickens coming home to roost for some of the neg-heads on here. <laugh>

You know who you are

So what? I thought we’d finish third and bottle the playoffs. Based it on what I saw at the time.

And yet, if we’re promoted on Tuesday, I’ll be out celebrating. You’d think I’d be drowning my sorrows about my wrongness. Strange how circumstances can change, isn’t it?

Yeah, I’m sure anyone who was ever slightly critical of the team this season will be furious if we get promoted...

Very normal comment by you.

Most of them, yes I do.
If we hit the target we probably would.
To be truthful though, I do expect us to concede one but I'm not letting Mr Negativity take charge.
Am I a realist, probably not.
Do I get upset if we only win 1 nil, not at all.
If we win 8 nil today, I am expecting 50 + likes to my score prediction.
Why do I think 8 nil?
Because I hate nil.
Hope that's not a whoosh to some.

The sun is shining, I started a new job last week and today 8 nil.

That'll do for my hat-trick Boom

Good luck with all three :emoticon-0148-yes:

My only contribution and you come out with that?
Its not personal to you, it's about the general theme of expecting apologies. It started with the owners and now its the manager. Do you think Grant McCann enjoyed the back end of last season ? Do you think he enjoyed the Dave Burns interview, after a 8-0 defeat. live on the BBC and the question 'Why don't you go, the fans want you to go..?'
It's gone, it's history, it happens, clubs go up and clubs go down, what does not happen is apologies for doing so.
Shall we all move on and concentrate on winning this league ?

It's not only strange, it's almost inevitable- hence the ****ishness of rubbishing current staff, players, tactics when you know nowt of the reasons why things are as they are.

Supporting a club is a rollercoaster.

If you can't handle the dips, maybe best get off?

A poodle is a breed that yaps very loudly often when it just hears others barking, regardless of the reason.

A bit like fans on a forum who leap on the negative bandwagon, demanding apologies and sackings, then when the tide turns, they're the ones celebrating loudest.when the victories are coming.

Gotta agree with this

I'm still waiting for Ken Houghton's apology after that 7-2 defeat at Brentford in Dec 79.

4-0 down after 28 mins.

Because I don’t see why he should be pilloried for a prediction he made. Nobody makes a prediction like that knowing they’re going to be right.
The reason I called him out on the "we'll finish in the play offs" comment is that he's got a long history of gross negativity, his comments aren't predictions, he states them as fact.

After all he's the chap who said the trouble at the Hull Fc rugby semi final in Huddersfield was caused by City fans...I don't forget that sort of comment from a fellow City fan.

He's not a real fan.

It was a deliberate wind up and it was easy bait at the time .
The instantly offended will always hold lifetime grudges .
Enjoy

Only 'real fans' are positive 100% of the time and have zero criticisms of the club and the team <laugh>
