Mention on another thread about Swan Vestas led me to recall the things I'd stick my tongue on as a nipper.

The strike paper on the side of Swan Vesta matches used to taste a bit salty but the strike on safety matches didn't.

9v batteries, obviously. The tingle you'd get was always a laugh.

What have you licked? Please feel free to descend into debauchery if that is where this is headed but the more strange or comical would be better.
