Calm down chaps and chapesses The fat lady is glancing at her mic, but she hasn’t picked it up yet. I shall be predicting us to lose every game for the rest of the season...
Taste the schardonfroid if Wayne Rooney's Derby County accompany FC Massive down the Leagie 1 next season
If City Man's prediction turns out to be correct, no-one will announce Hull City are automatically promoted next Tuesday I can guarantee.
I know a couple of Sunderland supporters come on here saying they had a few star men coming back from injury so they will be even stronger but sometimes when playing well and you change it then that can affect the team no matter how good that player is. We had a spell when changes were made and it affected us but credit to the manager he changed it back again which coincided with our good run. Don’t know if Sunderland have made any changes and not particularly bothered but having that settled team when on a good run makes such a difference.
With the cobblers having the lowest goal tally in the division, we'll be going in to our game against Fleetwood with Peterborough level on points, and probably making a big dent in that goal difference advantage. That should do the trick.
Good results tonight, but as has been said, that’s all it is. We just need to keep plodding along, one game at a time. No point going OTT if we end up ****ing up in the final games. We’ve ****ed up before when it mattered, been relegated because we couldn’t beat the **** teams round us. We almost ****ed up promotion in 2013, having to rely on Leeds to go up. I don’t fancy any Karma biting me, by saying we’re up & acting like the fans who give it all big time Charlie.
Had the sense to delete your original reply before I could reply I notice. Makes sense, I had read it.
Looking on the bright side, that's £60m the Sunderland owner won't have to spend next season (going on recent form) ... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/kyril-louis-dreyfus-set-hand-20318644
28 year old Will 'goal machine' Keane, just another 11 goals to go and he'll he'll have one goal for every year of his age for the seven clubs he's played for!
Results last night couldn't have gone much better, but we just have to keep our feet on the ground and keep winning, Nothing is won yet, but how often irony plays its part with Keane scoring, maybe he has just paid back a part of the fee we paid for him.
Agreed, let's not forget we've already lost 4-1 in the league this season to the team we play on Saturday. We've had enough surprise results this season not to count our chickens. Let's just see what position we're in on Tuesday and hope for the best.
Completely agree, anything could still happen and probably will. I'm not counting my chickens just yet but I am starting to get the twitches of a semi-on...
