come on, you seem so keen to tell all you know. Which lawsuits are in progress. Learn me please

Progress are not ones finished in court so difficult to give you evidence on an outcome yet to be finalised.....try just checking the last twenty year's and you will see.

It's billions being paid out

We won't talk about the opioid issues America has either

My first football arrest was Walsall away i was still in comp school......got ragged by a police dog and all that day.....band from official supporter's clubs travel and ended up travelling up and down the country with the soul crew lads

Oh come on mate, it wasn't exactly difficult to get banned from a supporters club. I've known lads arrested and seen them beaten up by cops for fook all. As for getting ragged by dogs, that's what they do, much the same as getting too close to a horse.

You can call yourself any fancy name you want, it means nowt to me bruv. I really don't care, it just makes me laugh at you. I know where I've been and what my experiences are, I just don't feel the need to wear it like a badge bruv, you like me are an old man now.....it's called growing up!

Turnover of the store on the whole ... some with percentage milestones based on running totals... requires transparency on takings by month etc but that isn't usually too much of a problem ...

Seems very fair from the retailers perspective, but I suppose commercial landlords are currently quite desperate.

Absolutely ... when the first lockdown came in some Landlords were bullish about no concessions / changes to terms when approached ... then you had the likes of Kath Kidson going under and retailers being quite prepared to close less profitable stores ... Landlord attitudes changed markedly ...

Let's not discuss morals and big pharmaceutical issues.

But they care :emoticon-0140-rofl:

You should have watched some of the George Floyd trial, lots about opiods and other drugs discussed in it and various affects on the body. Also the difference between tolerance and addiction. You don't have to be interested in the case, to take an interest in the medical witnesses, covering some of the misconceptions about drugs. It really got me thinking about some police restraints, and how easy it is to kill a person who is handcuffed behind their back.

Sounds interesting but that's for another thread I guess.

Oh, not Covid then pal.

Apparently this is connected, according to my conspiracy friend

I checked it out, clear and obvious fake, the religious & non religious brains are a pixel perfect match of each other, which means they're the same brain and the audio has been changed
"that's just your opinion", I told her to screen capture it and put one over the other to check, not heard back since.
Turns out it's a bunch of doctors talking abut meth addictions effect on the brain and the audio was changed by a guy who was trying to get funds from a kick-starter campaign to make a documentary about it, and had created a funvax.com website 2 months before the video was uploaded 'anonymously' to youtube.
It's since been re-uploaded with the picture quality lessened so that the fear mongers can claim it's Bill Gates.

don't think our doctors are particularly getting paid for it but the over prescribing here is clearly worrying , as it should , the UK authorities .
It depends what you’re labelling over prescribing. In terms of painkillers, what is there after paracetamol before you get to opioids? People who are abusing opioids aren’t necessarily those being prescribed them.

NSAIDS -Ibuprofen being the best known one .
The biggest problem is agreeing to easily to prescribe any painkiller plus not offering the weakest possible . An example being i was offered the stronger co-codamol when i broke my shoullder and the Dr seemed surprised when i said i'd start on the lower as i can always get a new script for the dosage . Should point out he gave me 50 and i used about 12 .
Many people on constant painkillers would be much better served by other treatments and the need for more of the specialised pain centres to deal with this is a well known problem but getting the money & staff for them , as so often , is another matter .
