.. that's what he thought in real time and he was right ... as I said earlier, McTominey's flick was inadvertent and Son would not have stopped him passing anyway nor impacted the passage of play that followed... Ridiculous decision.

Wasn't it Prem club chairman that voted this in, so until it impacts in a big way financially, with the clubs that have influence then I can't see it changing.

I was pro VAR and still am, but only for clear mistakes from the ref and linesman..

It's gone far too far and it's spoiling the flow of a game.
