Seem to be recovering well thanks, although I have become a bit paranoid if I get a slight ache in my calf or I cough for longer than a few seconds. From what I read, one of the common groups for getting clots are lorry drivers as they spend hours a day in the same body position. I’m not sure how that relates to a number?

Nice you are recovering. Guess the risk is similar for office staff, call centre workers who are sat about

I felt a tad unwell the other day, and as I've got hospital stuff coming up, I ordered a covid test, which I done and sent back straight away.

I know I've got a viral infection but I also know it's defo not covid, but from experience I know I will be asked endless questions about it, so I thought it's better to have the proof and that will help cut the conversations short.

Anyway, the test return is tracked, so I know they have had it at the lab for 2 whole days now, still heard nothing....world beating! Maybe virus' don't work weekends <whistle>

I suppose after the last year, I just thought they would be really hot on this stuff, but apart from ordering the kit online, not heard a peep.

How's that for timing!....Just had a message....Negative.

That’s pretty good. I’m still waiting for the results of a test I had a month ago.

Had another one since then, which did come back negative. Not much faith in track and trace at all though tbh.

Yup, the virus waits for no man, so the quicker the turn around the better, especially for the dosh invested in it.

I know I will have another test in a few weeks, but this one saves me load of ear ache. Thankfully I had to go to a hospital test centre one time, so at least I had a clue of what was required when the actual kit turned up.

Stood outside a pub making a phone call last summer while in wales on holiday and (as I have my locations on for my daily walks) I got a message from Google asking how I liked the pub and could I review it.
Confirmed to me that I was right about the technology not being accurate enough to properly run track and trace.
Have always refused to have the app cos of it.

Sounds big time bonkers to me
Bit worried to be honest, she's very susceptible to anything anti-govt or big business so will believe almost anything if it points to them being evil. A total sucker for those formulaic scare-mongering 'documentaries' so beloved by Netflix. went vegan a few years ago due to the hilariously misleading 'what the health', now I think the detrimental effect the lack of B12 has on critical thinking is taking it's toll.
