I didn't know anything about his pompous arrogance so I'll have to take your word for that.
What I DO know is that he was very quiet whilst Millen was losing games - he didn't appear to be attempting to engage with the fans at all, or comment on our predicament.
He isn't the right personality for the Chairmans job IMO. If he is good at dealing with the council then put him in charge of the New Stadium project (that is if he is to be employed at all by the club)

I don't know the guy but I DO know an awful lot of Glos CC supporters who were NOT HAPPY with him. When you ask them to explain why, they just go a funny colour, babble and almost start frothing at the mouth. He was not popular there at all...

'I would have Trollope back now over the clown we've got.'
Like a shot! I think that he would have reflected upon the areas where he made mistakes,
and been humble and intelligent enough to learn from them.
This man........oh I'm getting angry again..........blood pressure.................****!
Rovers and Trollope and City with GJ - if we could turn the clock back???

On the plus side he won't be there forever, although we appear to be stuck with him for now.

IMO Lansdown junior will become Chairman in due course (probably when we get the new stadium) and Sexstone can then disappear

I think I can remember on the old 606, there were a few of us saying when we both going through a sticky patch..
"be careful what you wish for, it can be a hell of a lot worse"
I know that GJ or Trollope hasn't set the world alight since leaving, but I do think both had passion for the Bristol clubs. And MOST of the time did seem to click..........
Both us and the gas IMO were far to quick to get rid.

As for Colin, I do feel that he should have been more in touch with the fans (like SL was) over the last few months while things were dire.
Quite strange though, it does seem that he does hear/follow what is being said on these forums, i.e cheap options, etc.

PR at the club in general has been poor over the last few years and it shouldn't be a difficult thing to fix. Appoint a press officer and any/all releases have to be made through him (or her!)

There have been a few posts on here and other sites slagging off Colin Sexstone.
Can anyone tell me exactly what the guy has done wrong?
SL owns and finances the club, so anyone who thinks the tightening of the purse strings was down to Sexstone is wrong.
KM was appointed by SL - so can't blame him for that.
Since being made Chairman in the summer the results have been awful - was that down to him?
Are we just throwing brickbats at an easy target?:undecided:

IMO yes 'we' are.
