Yes mate.

In fairness one of them is ****ing ancient now, but is the size of a bull terrier lol, back in her younger days she used to catch mice, crunch their skulls (it’s for their teeth apparently) and leave the beheaded carcass at the back door. The younger one is part Persian and can’t be arsed with mice, she likes bringing in birds and then letting them loose to fly round the house ffs.

We had a Norwegian forest cross as well, until a couple of years back, and he was ****ing huge (we had to have a dog flap) and he’d catch all sorts but just bring them in alive. We’d regularly come home to a full size rabbit sat in the conservatory, with him just sat next to it. <laugh>

<laugh> bloody hell. glad ours never brought home rabbits!

Not a big fan of cats by the way.

They do **** all.

Occasionally other people's **** in the front garden but, bar that, I don't really see their point.

I'm not fan of cats either, but the one we had certainly did the job. Problem is with mice that population is going to explode if they have an easy resource to food.

You obviously feed them too much and too well

Our two if they are not happy with todays offerings go out catch something and bring it home to make a point
Aint you the one who makes his kids eat 3 day old eggs or go hungry?

You sound like him<laugh>

Probably. The cheeky ****ers come and wake us up about 6 am if we’re not already up, wanting their breakfast. They get their paws under the wardrobe doors and rattle them.

Sounds familiar

Ours change their minds every week about what food is their favourite

Keeps my wife on her toes when she is stocking up for the week

<laugh>

Are they female?

My other half use to have one years back at an old property we owned, always use to chase and kill the mice. The only downside, sometimes they like to bring them home as a gift....normally bit in half, with just the skull left to crush. It was a male cat so don't know if that makes a difference. If it smelt a mouse it would go absolutely nuts until it caught it.

Toms generally are better at keeping vermin down but our neighbour has a female and she is one killing machine, fairly often find half a mouse on our front lawn she leaves for us, seen her carrying a few pigeons too. Downside she sometimes gets the nice birds too. Strange thing is, any other cat comes near her and she's off like a sheff Wed fan when the numbers are even.
