Covid passports to be trialled.

Just waiting for the star of david patches for @West WindsR and Chairman Mao patches for me to begin trials

When PM Patel takes over in 2024 I’ll be forced to have a star tattooed on my forehead anyway.

I don’t mind the idea in principle but if they enforce it before everyone has been offered the vaccine then it’s bullshit. Do you then get the passport after one dose? Who is responsible for enforcing it?

no one under 50 can go to the footy unless they are a health care pro or very clinically vulnerable - eminently sensible <whistle>

paperwork at pharmacy no greater as the script has to be registered and the admin is mainly computerised these days . I'd be ****ed without my stuff but i have no problem paying £130 notes per year for them .
Edit : just checked and actually only £108 per year .

same here. If you have more than 2 a month pre payment is the way. But can’t see how a diabetic gets all meds free? But a transplant patient has to pay?

ECV will have been vaccinated with both doses. Means I could be one of the out of town ST holders back at games.

yeah the medical exemptions are a farce personally think they should all be scrapped . If i had an older treatment i would be exempt but when the new treatment came in ias an option t wasn't added to the list <laugh>

so you are saying in Wales the NHS are booking your appointments for you and you have to tell them you cannot make it . Seems a very strange way to go about things to me but as someone once said Wales.

Find it hard to believe everyone in England books their own vaccine appointments mate, soz.

NHS in Wales is in an even worse state than in England mate . I know it isn't a popular view but i actually think more people should pay for prescriptions as though it might raise only a tiny amount in comparison to the total budget every little helps .

In Wales people are asked buy their own basics like paracetamol and ibuprofen as they cost peanuts to buy, yet cost three times the amount for the NHS to issue free of charge.

Quite right too. But people are so ****ing tight they will go to a GP to get this stuff issued free.

It’s because the exemption list is over 50 years old, it was put forward for review / change back in 2008, but the Tories got in and scrapped it.

think here the GP's are now thankfully banned from issuing prescriptions for that sort of stuff .

So you just decide when you want one and go get it?

That's great.

Not how it's been reported by the news of course but great all the same.

I should have told my Mum to just say when she wanted hers, instead of waiting for her appointment like everyone else in England has to.
