Given our current predicament, I think his injury record takes precedence over everything.
We need players who can actually stand up. Having talented but injury-prone players has cost us the league, and we're currently better off with the more modest attributes of the likes of Phillips.
The best player in the world is no use to us on the injury table.
In reality we're not going to go for someone who's completely useless, so as long as he's decent the injury record becomes vital.

Yes. Better than Upamencano, and is one of the best young centre backs in Europe. Huge potential. Pretty much ticks every box for us (bar injury record).
He would be number 1 partner for VVD, with Kabak and Gomez as the back ups.
Moot point if he's always injured. For example, Ledley King was a very good but ****ing useless CB
