A very poor performance and an embarrassing result.
Awful. Ireland have been very poor under Kenny, who should never have got the job, but that was pathetic.
The current group of players available to him are probably the worst for decades.
His attempt to play to their weaknesses is just mental, though. They're not good enough and the talent pool isn't there.

I agree on Kenny. I’ve just seen that his assistant is Keith Andrews, another awful appointment. The future is bleak with them two in control.

That should be it, hopefully. They might get the Qatar friendly, but there's no way that they should survive beyond that.

Leon Bailey's declared for Jamaica (eventually...) so, technically, they're more appealing than Ireland right now
If they can add Andre Grey, Kemar Roofe, Michael Antonio and the like to their numbers, then they can definitely do something in their local group.
CONCACAF's basically Mexico plus a load of ****e.

Mexico could be on the cusp of a generational timebimb looking at their squad, as there's a glut of players in their 30s (notably Hector Moreno, Hector Herrera, Andres Guardado, Miguel Layun and literally every goalkeeper) and there's a lot of younger players with a handful of caps between them

Probably not as critical as when a similar thing happened to the Dutch a decade ago, given Mexico's usual opponents are Honduras, Jamaica and whichever cannon fodder got through the qualifiers (i.e Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic etc etc), but certainly reason to be concerned if there's a death of retirements following the World Cup

Kane’s first England goal in 500 days or something they said?

Poor player, get him off, Southgate... <whistle>

Georgia are currently holding Spain to a 1-1 draw.
The shot counts aren't that different, either. Georgia 5:2 on target, Spain 8:2 on target.
Possession? Not so much. Georgia 22% v Spain's 78%! <laugh>

Spain score in stoppage time, as the keeper palms it into the net. <doh>

Tom Davies is terrible. You’ve gotta be one awful manager to think this guy represents the best this country has to offer at U21 level.
