iwent to see them on one of my jaunts back to the UK, maybe a decade ago in Magland. They were ****ing superb.....
I remember a New Years Eve Party with them playing, broke out into absolute mayhem.
Anyway before we started chatting about all that, I was watching this from 18 seconds in, hadn't seen this instrumental version/cover of it before. Just seeing what notes he was playing, although I slowed it down to 0.75 I felt it made it sound better...

Funny enough I only like him for two songs, that one and........wait for it......he does a brilliant (no string bend) version of Hotel California
The reason I like his creep version is I can't sing, so I have to make up for the vocals, instrumentally, and just strumming don't cut it for me, I feel like it's a cop out. So I tend to look for more complicated stuff that fills those vocal gaps.
