Probably not ours right now .... although I have said previously that I would love to see him paired with Vardy ... but the Nachoman now has 9 in 9 and him and Vardy are looking great as a front pairing ..
That form could end, he's not looked a great player at times. If you were offered Ings right now in a swap you'd be nuts not to take it.
Vardy is 35 next season, so you’ll need to bring in another striker this summer, especially if you get a CL place. However I doubt a player who’ll be 29 in the summer and has a poor injury record and who wants big money fits your clubs M.O.
He’s a cracking player, but he’s been picking up niggling injuries again this season and he’d be a gamble imo. If we signed him, you could guarantee he’d do his cruciate within a month,
You lot should be grateful you even had a player of Owens calibre grace your club tbh. Deserved every penny
I remember Sid James’s being rammed at his unveiling, that was a massive signing at the time. Then he proceeded to barely kick a ball for 2 seasons.
I can't remember if he was injured playing for England or for Newcastle but he was absolutely knackered and wanted to retire His goal to game ratio remained respectable tbh, he was just nowhere near what anyone expected.
