Excellent news from sky sports. Ashley is standing by Steve Bruce! I watched your game on Saturday and Your manager is totally discombobulated. Whilst Hayden was receiving treatment Bruce called his players for a confab, what happened next was bizarre. Some went to Bruce others to Jones, are your manager and coach reading from the same script? The outcome was predictable Brighton scored straight after the restart.

I was hoping that you might have got a draw from this game - if only to keep Brighton honest, instead you turned in a turgid, characterless, performance, exemplified by Jonjo Shelvey- what you see in this creature is beyond me, he is a player with a wealth of experience, and yet he strolls around apparently without a care in the world. You are a side without leaders - both on and off the pitch - A few games ago I felt that you were going to be safe. Not now!. A fair few of your posters said you would be relegated. They may be on to something!

Yeah I don't see newcastle picking up a single point until the last 2 games... I think Fulham will win at least one of the next 2 and nufc will be in the position they finish in which is 18th. It'll be confirmed relegation before we play Sheff United.

Was never given a chance... Played on the right in the wrong system a bit like what's been happening at Newcastle fue decades because they employ the worst managers in world football.

Yep, that's why you can't really judge players as ****e, it's the system/manager/club making them look ****e

Yet another 2 for Mitro tonight. 4 in last 2 Internationals meaning he'll be up for it with Fulham.. Does not auger well for us as he'll be busting a gut against us. Headline now, Mitro confirms Newcastle relegation.
