That's a very soft foul. It's pretty standard for anyone going anywhere near a keeper now, but he barely touches him.

I thought that in real time, but the replay showed he made no attempt to challenge for the ball, he just barged the keeper.

That would never be a foul on an outfield player, though. You'd be expected to do that.
I'd absolutely expect that decision to be given consistently, but I was surprised when Alisson didn't get one for fouling that bloke the other day.

I hate watching Steve Bruce's teams. Newcastle fans must feel even more negatively about it.
Sets up to kill the game and stay in it until late, then chuck on a striker and go direct to try and nick something. Awful stuff.
 
Can’t believe it’s 12 months since the proposed TO at Newcastle. When they go down they will be a great bargain.
 
That’s a bad one for Hayden, looks like his knee has been snapped there like.
