Nigel Adkins first game charge of Charlton in a London Derby at a new ground for the addicks.

After playing Wimbledon at Plough Lane, Selhurst Park, Kingsmeadow and Loftus Road, the squad are now off to the New Plough Lane on the site of the old Greyhound Stadium.

19 points from a new manager with 10 games to go was enough to get Charlton a league one play off spot 3 years ago.

No reason why a similar points total would not lead to a top 6 finish this season as well.

Either way a new era begins at 3pm on Saturday.

Nigel might share the pilot seat with JJ for this one and begin moulding the team on monday when we have a two week break for him to make whatever changes he feels necessary.
Wimbledon hasn't always been much of a happy hunting ground for us, but their position in the table makes this..

even more daunting. We generally seem to lower ourselves to play these sorts of teams. Still, we are on a run of sorts so if we can muster some energy and try to keep our passing neat, who knows.

Inniss and Matthews out injured.
I fear another Joe Piggott screamer from that lovely open space we like to leave outside the penalty area.

Pearce has been excellent recently. Maybe something to do with Famewo's return. Mind you there's always a howler waiting to happen in our defence, Tuesday it was Maatsen and Amos.

Purrington might be the better bet at LB for this game, especially if Pratson isn't playing.
