Is anyone listening to Sir Adam on Radio Humberside sports talk - 1hr special.

He’s been very Frank & honest about his city years & the current relationship with the Allams.

Well worth a listen

He even suggested FC might move away to get their own stadium - doesn’t feel like home & doesn’t feel welcome

Great interview on Radio Humberside tonight, Burnsy and Swanny talking to Adam Pearson.

Adam is looking at the possibility of finding/building a new ground for Hull FC, wants a 15K stadium to call Hull FC's home as doesn't like sharing a ground, private equity money would be used to fund it. I still think he would like to own City as well but money is the issue. Should be able to listen to the show again on BBC Iplayer / Sounds.

programme will be available to listen again shortly

Costello Stadium would be ideal.

It would good to hear that Adam confirmed the pitch would be getting re-laid in May/June as Hull FC have a 6 week gap between home games. The pitch is in need of a complete overhaul.

Season starts soon doesn’t it?
Appealing to the great unwashed
Sense of injustice etc etc
Always a good salesman

That's not true it's ****ed up every season as you well know

No it isn't. It has been **** after no rugby has been played on it. Bristol City and Swansea and others share their pitches with union teams which do more damage and play through all the winter months at the same time and their pitches were in a better state than ours last month during the RL close season.

]No it isn't. It has been **** after no rugby has been played on it.

Entirely possible, Also been **** when rugby has been played on it.
The pitch is at its worst and grass grows slowest in Q1. Ask Monty Don.

Different soil types, different amounts of sunlight and rainfall etc. Impossible to do a scientific comparison.

I reject your theory.

So, it isn't rugby which affects the pitch? It is the Mediterranean type climate in Swansea with more sunshine and less rainfall? I reject your theory.
