As you're probably aware by now chaps, AHLL has left the forum.
I'd like to wish him all the best for the future, and hope he comes back one day.
Farewell sir, and thanks for giving me the oppotunity to look after the place :emoticon-0150-hands

Any clue as to the reason for this massive reaction?

Hope to see him back, a not606 OG like FHB

What is so wrong with Roddy and Adkins? Adkins wouldn't have been my choice but he took Scunthorpe out of this division twice and he has a record of bringing in youngsters. Your comment about this Dane has destroyed the Club is totally out of order. If he hadn't bought the Club it would have gone into Administration and Elliott and Farnell would probably have got their dirty mitts on it. Your post is totally over the top and over dramatic.

I have supported Charlton for sixty years and it will take a lot more than the appointment of Adkins to stop me supporting them. I must say I am shocked by the timbre of your post.
Absolutely, Dushitelet could not be supported/defended in any way as well.

I thought it was a massive overreaction to Adkins appointment. But his choice.

Perhaps the Adkins appointment was only part of the reason.
I have nothing to base that on, it's just a speculation.
But if AHLL felt he'd rather not go into any more detail, I think we can respect that. He's been a great servant to this forum and may yet return one day.

Watched the Adkins interview on YouTube and currently watching the Adkins/Sandgaard press conference on Valley Pass.

I’ve gone from cautious optimism to excitement.

The positivity, focus on yoof and his record tick the boxes for me. He knows about us as well, regaling a story about Kelly Youga’s loan spell at Scunny.

Sandgaard revealed he has been thinking about this for 6 weeks and interviewed 5/6 candidates.

He seemed cool, calm and collected about the last week. He believes we have a chance of the play offs, which is why he seemingly moved so quickly.

I'll start a thread.....

i'm actually feeling quite down about most of this. LB seems to have gone cos he caught wind he might have been moved on in the summer anyway. and then his interview on the birmingham site yesterday had him saying "someone said they were interested, so i left".... after years of "my club" "i love it", he moved because of a very low temptation - they're run by a nut job and have had 11 managers in 10 years. i'm now glad he's gone - cant be having someone that flakey about; even if he was good for us, for a while.

adkins has come across well. he's a bit underwhelming, but if results are good then i'll have no choice to like him. would have preferred jacko or euell myself. got absolute pelters for saying on twitter that TS should have gone for Wilder or Howe.
