Nah we don’t spend £115 mill on a player etc. Plus Poch was having a few challengey seasons too and then he was done.
I’d never wish another prem team good luck in Europe. Like you say **** em. Apart from my team of course
That is a recent spend tbf Atleti’s age bill was less than QPR when they won Serie A under S and they have reached multiple CL finals and been unlucky not to win one They were storming La Liga until they lost form recently Simeone’s consistency in CL and La Liga is superb https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/tenyears/
I did ... Brian Clough remains the best football manager of my lifetime and what he achieved at both Forest and Derby was incredible and he has my utmost admiration ... England's loss that the FA were too up themselves to give him the national job
Guess you don’t understand rivalry then. Not surprising, we have had this convo before. Lesta don’t really have any significant rivals to talk of
Ahh I think it's making sense now. Its the fans of the smaller prem teams who are all into this support the English sides in Europe bollocks. Same dreamers who have England as winners England in any upcoming tournament. Its romantic and gay
What you getting all rattled about Fos ? Listen bro, I appreciate you supporting Arsenal tonight. No need to go all Fosse on me about it
The fans that follow teams home and away, ya mean? If so, yup. For some reason I can't quite fathom, the armchair boys (particularly Sky plastic types) seem to get much more upset if they lose to 'rivals' ...
You’d never get a Spurs fan wishing Arsenal luck in Europe and vice versa. Like you say, some of the smaller clubs fans probably quite like seeing the bigger clubs do well. Guess you have to have a proper rival to understand how that really works.
You assume I'm rattled by putting a few fannies straight, Ponks? ... you couldn't be further away from reality than the Goonz are to a title challenge.
