You didn't drag out the explanation. The point of the post was obvious, and you were playing dumb.

Humour can be subjective, Strolls, and what you may not find funny, others will. If you don't like it, ignore it. Don't be a snowflake.

I honestly didn't understand the shaver reference, Goldie. Once you pointed out that you think she looks like a man (I disagree), I realised how shallow and unfunny it was.

Humour is indeed subjective - you're a Jim Davidson fan, aren't you? And of course you've never been at all 'snowflakey' about left-wing comedians, have you?

I like some Jim Davidson stuff. I have no problem with left wing comedians. Some of them are talented and funny. I just want a better balance because the arts side of the BBC won't tolerate anything but the left.

I’m sure only 60% or so of the good folk of Hartlepool will make the informed choice to vote for the Party that saw an economic opportunity in letting a virus kill their elderly relatives.

I wouldn't be too sure, they elected that snake-oil salesman Mandleson. Perhaps Hangus will be standing again, with the Monster Raving Loonies as well it'll be anything but boring...

A long time ago. The odds are pretty much Evens on both but can’t see how Labour have a chance unless a far right party come in again and split the vote. It’ll be a shame if yet another Johnson lemming is parachuted in to give these sex cases even more power. Think the timing is ideal for them too.

For what it’s worth, the bloke supposedly being put forward by Labour is an ex-MP and doctor.

that's a lot from one place

I'm pleased to announce over 20,000 refugees from Syria have been resettled in the UK since 2015 through our Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme.

And I can also announce £14m of support to help refugees integrate here in the UK with English language and employment support.

I get the impression she’s not really that pleased at all.

imagine for a minute if these people had this amount of passion and desire to protect other people, you know the type that are alive, that feel, that suffer, instead of an inanimate object... whilst sneering at immigrants.

Anyone with a portrait of the Queen hanging up really needs to be on a register.

It said "Live from Westminster", so I assume it was a parliamentary or government office, acquired for the broadcast.

Much more worried about the mostly/ entirely Tory politicians who have flags in their home behind them in their zoom calls

(Those who actually read what I say, will know this is hypocrisy, as I did an important podcast with a QPR playoff in the background) DOH!
