Massive Massive win after Sunday. Not pretty and didn't play well but a win a clean sheet and still loads of players out through injury. Tempting fate but I can only see us getting stronger
To be fair to LJ he did say he wouldnt be an instant hit but we would see his worth soon after. Fairly decent summary of him up to now.
I've not felt this optimistic and confident about the team since big Sam was our manager, with Kaboul and kone in CD, kirchoff and mvila in the middle plus defoe up front. Obviously that squad was Premiership quality but our current team is giving me a similar feeling. Oh, and Gooch is the surviving squad member from that premiership team.
I mean some step up for Winchester, he did look a bit lost, then he looked ok, then tidy, now he’s like ‘I ****ing belong here’. I like when him and Scowen are together on there they bite the ****ing ankles off the oppo and choke the life out of them at times.
Stewart has arrived , another string to our bow by the looks of it , the squad is our strength, and its getting better game by game.
Stewart looks a good mover as well. Could easily do the role O’Brien had been doing but as an additional threat with balls in the box from wide?
