HOW DARE YOU POST SOMETHING SO NEGATIVE WHILE WE'RE TOP OF THE TABLE!

etc
That's not negative that is actual fact of how ****e we were not so very long ago. Not made up ****e formed from people's opinions, who may or may not support the club. Laughingly called 'the good old days' by some. Also amazingly fondly remembered by some and wished to be returned too. So a timely reminder.

Oddly, in those days going to a game, especially an away game, could be more enjoyable than now. Fairly free to travel and have a drink surrounded by like-minded fans who supported the team no matter what. Nof surrounded by the sitvdown, shut up brigade whose main concerns are the mirrors in the toilets and who whinge and moan and say the novelty of the PL and Cup Finals had worn off after one season or one appearance and they wouldn't spend money on any further Wembley trips if we got there.

Blimey, you really haven't been to a City match for a while have you? That's ancient history now, a least a decade behind us.

A football away day is still ( from memory) a fabulous day out in my opinion, often spoilt by the football itself. My point was the standard of football played at that time, the opposition and the state of our club then. People forget we played at the lowest level from a three sided ground which was rotting away in front of our very eyes, not much on the pitch, nothing in the board room and no investment at all.

Someone on here said if we had got to Wembley this season he wouldn't go as he had been there. A lot think the same. A lot decided that after a couple of seasons in the PL they had seen enough. Crowds were down the second time.

The actual 90 minutes was often the low point of a weekend away, stopping out until the early hours somewhere.

Yes indeed. Those are things that happened ten years ago. I’m not sure one person recently saying something stupid about Wembley on the internet really changes anything about the true match day experience.

I’m basing my judgement on attending games during recent seasons. None of what you said is apparent to me.

Well, the odd few meetings between fans and the club have featured fans moaning about people standing up at away games and, of course, the most important thing, the mirrors in the toilets. We have lots sat down at away matches, not willing to move and insisting everyone sits down, whilst at the KCOM all the away fans appear to be standing.
Let's hope the loonies in the Green Party don't get in, eh? Games will be restricted to people who live near the stadium with no away games because of the 6pm curfew on males.<laugh>
