Lee Westwood has never won a major, but he goes into the final round of The Player's Chamionship at Sawgrass (nicknamed the fifth Major) tonight with a two shot lead over Bryson DeChambeau. These two fought out the finish of the Arnold Palmer Invitational last weekend, with DeChambeau winning by one shot, and it would be really good to see the 47 year-old, paunchy Westwood come out on top this week against the 27 year-old muscleman Dechambeau. Come on Lee.

I watched him last week get beat by Bryson so hope he pulls one back this week.

He says he’s a lot more relaxed with his partner on his bag.

I'm not able to watch it at the moment (bleeding Mother's day), so I'm following the scorecard and the bookies' odds (which reflect the changes slightly earlier). Looks like it's between Thomas and Westwood now. I hope to get to see the conclusion.

Westwood makes bit of a haims of 2nd shot.....in bunker short of green where the trees are....

Poor tactical decision by Westwood on 16th. Thomas was playing well, Lee had to stand up and win this not wait for mistakes.
Not going for 16 in 2 cost him.

As Stan hinted at in an earlier post, he seems to lack the desire.

Or the belief.
Same thing last week.
He lacks an aggressive shot capability.
Anyway, two second placing in two weeks.
Wish l could play that poorly.
Love watching TPC at Sawgrass.
Spectacular course.
Augusta just around the corner.
Can’t wait.
