Form usually goes out of the window for the NLD, which might be a good thing for us today. Can't see us being able to keep Son, Kane and Bale quiet all game though, and our defending is literally suicidal at times, so we're bound to hand you some goals on a plate. I just want to see us play direct and attack your lot, get defenders on the back foot, take some shots, take some chances. If we play tippy tappy, Maureen will park the bus and pick us off on the break.
Yeah you’re bound to have your best game in months....don’t really know how to call it. Hoping to get one of your hot heads sent off today...would be a nice little bantzy bonus
I honestly haven't got a clue what the score will be today, I don't know which Arsenal or Spurs will turn up. We've both got the potential to either win comfortably or ****in self destruct. If you're having one of our hot heads getting a red, then I'll take a last min VAR **** up to hand us a pen to win the game. Could be bantzy central Or it could be a boring 0-0
Have to say I'm shocked by that. I know Pompey lost at Wembley yesterday, but some of these L2 sides are pretty decent teams. Salford have the sort of backing that gives them the edge, not just financially but tactically. I think the only mistake I see that Portsmouth made was going as far has they did in this Trophy. Promotion has to be the goal after such a long absence from the Championship. It's just crazy, yesterday the South Coast club played 120 minutes of football, then penalties, with a big game coming up on Tuesday, against the Posh. Sunderland will have the same problem today with a trip to Accrington coming up on Wednesday. But oh well, I'm starting to sound like Klopp now.
Tell yer mate, you are going to be gutted if you lose any decent players to injury in this Trophy, the Championship is virtually at your finger tips now. Two auto spots between four teams I reckon, Hull, Lincoln, Posh and Sunderland. Oxford look like they are going to miss out for a second season after yesterday's defeat - one of the best teams I've seen play via ifollow this season.
Well weird how that's been arranged. Sort of deflates it, you get the trophy for one day, and the opposition manager loses his job, that's proper fooked up.
Big win for Brighton in a decent game. Hassenhuttl's dip continues and the bookies' generosity is explained.
