Did you check the links in the private group? The first link have a really neat setup tool that helps A LOT. Also, download this small app. Most people use it. It helps you save data from every race so you have something to work with in the future. Just make sure that you up in the menu list click Online > Get all data or just hit F5 to collect the data so far. You need to do this after your qualify and before each race in order to be able to save everything you done.
Cheers! That looks like a massive help! I'll admit when I first signed up I wasn't planning on taking it too seriously, but worryingly, it's already becoming addictive, and I've not even raced yet!
LOL i remember that.. when i signed a few races ago, i had a similar attitude but whoops 2 days later i had been online 35 hours out of 48 But now a few races later im only online about 1 hour per day so dont worry, it wont ruin your life this
I am loving the different strategies we are all trying, one of us has to score a podium surely. I just made a slight change to my strategy, box straight away when it is wet, but when it dries for a few laps (which i suspect it will) i will stay out on wet tyres until it rains again. Yes Canary it can get a bit addictive at first because theres so much to factor in but after a week or so you only end up spending a few hours a week.
Im Trying a three quarter wet setup, trying to maximize the dry and wet conditions. Doing a two stopped on Mediums, although i doubt that will happen with rain stops.
Those of you who are adding the rest of us as friends in game, make sure to also add your self. You will appear on your own friend list and It makes it very easy to compare your self with the others as we have the basic latest stats there. One hour to go, Best of luck everyone!
4th to 11th after lap 1, ouch, come on rain lets mix this up coz driver has no pace with a full wet set up in the dry, good luck guys
same here, "praying" for rain.. or rather this --> My pace is the best I had so far compared to the lead. "only 2 seconds off" but my first early pit due to extra soft costed ALOT.. Now lets hope for rain-dry-rain-dry a few times
im very surprised it hasn't rained yet, just about to make a second pit stop, the longer it stays dry the further back I go lol
I need rain for my fuel consumption; I went a bit light of fuel thinking that with rain the consumption will not be as high. So if it does not rain I will run out of fuel and have to pit an extra time.
Dam it rains 1 lap after pitting, still ill take it, driver is flying now Mifune Looks like it came down at the right time for you though
Yep, and this is where my strategy get interesting (not stopping for rain tyres), currently in P2 lapping 5 secs off the pace. I hope the rain stop and starts a bit.
im 20 seconds off the lead and lapping 2-4 sec faster than P1 lol edit: And pitting,, back down to P12.. need rain bad now or i need pit once more b4 the end :|
I knows who strategy im using next time, looks like you have called it right. Mine on the other hand is failing p4 to p15
