If we didn't have owners who decided to well and truly piss off the council, maybe.
There’s so many things we could do pre match, it’s not difficult to do, Americans do it at sports games, live music, draws for tickets, penalty shoot out style games, (kick balls through holes) but the ideas come as fresh when it’s something like that over here, then most fans won’t be interested because it’s americanising our game.
If we had a council who had a bit of foresight and vision plus took off their rugby league goggles, maybe.
The same council who didn't want to entertain the building of a hotel and casino at the KC when Pearson was in charge and stubbornly refused to even look into or put it to a full cabinet vote Assem's offer to redevelop the whole site with retail and leisure facilities because it would detract from the city centre, which they've managed to run down all by themselves.

The Council might be useless, but they aren't the only ****s in all of this. People seem to forget that.
Takes two to tango, The quoted Manchester City scheme was a project between the council and the football club. Both working together. People seem to forget that.
