Chris Wilder leaves Sheffield united. Hardly a surprising announcement seeing they are rooted to the foot of PL, but is it too late to make a difference?

Mrs just told me, not great news for the other clubs around the relegation spots, will get the new manager bounce.

Poor decision that imo. He’d have been likely to bring them straight back, as is currently happening at Norwich after their shocker last season. It’s far too late to change their fate, so what’s the point?

Totally agree ... unless he's just had enough and jacked it ...he has worked wonders at that club.

Him and their owner fell out over transfer funds apparently

It's the influence from the owners, think they wanted him out in Jan and reason behind not backing him. Do people think Brewster was his decision, he is a good manager so why would he buy that donkey?

Maybe they just listened to all the Liverpool fans who said he was wuuuuurld class and bought into it?

i'd question Ollie McBurnie more than Brewster.

Anyone who watched him in the championship would have been able to tell them he was championship class. He was never stepping up to Premier league level.

He'll be banging goals in at his level again next season, once United are relegated.

I think you lot are just gonna make it this year mate <cheers>

Reported that he has been at odds with the Saudi owners for a while?

Lots of these big rich ****s are facing the prospect of these clubs no longer being easy cash cows, all ****ting themselves. Chinese worse than most.

Might see some positive changes for the game.
