Possibly because the greatest number of cases came from a certain community that would be unlikely to use pubs.

There is no data to establish that pubs were a major source of transmission. Steps taken by publicans around the country made pubs very safe.

The 10 o'clock curfew and the substantial meal nonsense did nothing to curb transmission in already safe places.

They are simply an easy target.

The recent figures from Germany detailing the group in which cases are found was very revealing. I have little doubt that release of the figures here would disclose something similar.
 
Is there a conspiracy of silence at work here?
The same kind of conspiracy that allowed the Rotherham child abuse ring to operate for years with impunity?

How much suffering does there have to be, before political correctness becomes less important than saving lives and livelihoods?

I could understand that, if there was the possibility that Rangers would win the league with that result.
But they have not won the league yet - and they never could win it yesterday.
If Celtic win today, Rangers will have to wait a short while longer.

It does not bode well for fan reaction and COVID19 infection rates in Glasgow when Rangers actually do become league champions.
