To be fair I think its been difficult for the manager to get him in as the team has been playing to a level that no one really deserved to lose their spot.
Exactly this. Should've been in the team from the moment we signed.
Yes i agree, and dropping a player after a good game would have a negative effect, but i think theres been more than enough opportunities to bring him into the starting 11 at the expense of OBrien or Gooch, both are very hit and miss.
Its just like Fulham loaning Raheem Sterling and leaving him on the bench.
I agree about the negative effect and replacing Gooch. He has probably just done enough to keep his spot, probably changed today and we will see Jones from now on.
A few of the Rangers lads that I know said that he's hardly played this season, so maybe it's just a case of hitting fitness and recovery targets.
Gooch has been rubbish almost all season. Its time for him to sit it out and reflect on where his career here is actually going. Less than 10 good games a season is not good enough and he is quickly becoming very easily replaceable
Exactly this. These are the reasons he hasn't been starting but that is probably about to change.
Our best player imo. He has came on a made a difference in every game he’s featured. He also shoots from anywhere with is a good trait to have with some of the suspect keepers in this league. Class act.
I've been told that too. Not easy to go from not playing at all to playing 90, but he is playing his way into the team now alright.
He was hopeless in the games he did play and when Macfadzean came back in for him he looked far better.
Ah fair enough. I've not been impressed with McFadzean recently, but I had been quite optimistic by his signing.
