Football aside, this has been such a horrible season for our players. I know we feel like we're going through the motions with this team but it must be so tough for the players.

I'm not saying footballers deserve more sympathy but I was focusing on the fact that they have seen their colleagues / best mates injured for the whole season, and potentially career altering, as well as Klopp / Allison losing loved ones, and most of our players are foreign and have their families abroad who they cant see. Combined with the way our season is going.
It's just so mentally draining.

Money doesn't solve all issues in life. It doesn't dissolve all emotions and pressures.
if we all took that attitude LFC would still have hodgson in charge and be playing in the championship.
Pressure is part of the job description and part of the reward.
