My logic was that ketchup no longer has preservatives in it. Can't give a reasoning for the eggs, always been done suppose.

The one thing I hate is where salt has been removed from products now and black pepper added instead, I can only just tolerate black pepper, much prefer salt. Just wish there'd stop fooking about with our food.
