Yeah true. Shame your lot didn’t have the vision to see through the SP stadium as that looked the bollocks,
Can barely remember the plans now tbh. Woulda been nice Yeh i suppose, but the team leaving Anfield, with all that history. Woulda been a tough thing to do. Like can you create that atmosphere on a famous European night at Stanley Park. The Gooners lost all the atmosphere of the tightness of Highbury when they moved so who knows. No being funny but I don't think you have that to worry about so much.
“with lashings of ginger beer” We now know Fosse is in fact Enid Blyton. That explains a few things...
I think you can make a lot of arguments for moving stadium being a negative for clubs, but in certain cases that simply isn't the case. City needed to change, it's worked out perfectly- not like they had so much to lose or much of a risk tbh. But Goodison is at this point holding back Everton, when I went there I was kinda shocked, it's falling apart... and that was when I was young. It was about on par with Tranmere Rovers ground except much larger. Everton are a very well established top flight side, they should have a stadium that reflects that.
Champions League coming back to the Bridge, Europa on its way to the shiny new stadium **** the northern clubs tbph
