Richard Murray's comments about never playing Palace again have been sadly prophetic but not as he intended.

Let's hope for a fixture sooner rather than later.
Who would have predicted that Simon Jordan would be more popular than Richard Murray with most Charlton fans (going by social media anyway).

Anyone noticed the raised beds just outside Charlton station for growing veg?

I've only been back to SE7 a couple of times since early December.
Are these community gardens like those in Lewisham?
They might not change the world but they sound like a good idea.

If they've been there for 10 years, that's even better news <ok>

There are several such initiatives around the City.
I think the one by Charlton Station is run by Charlton Community Trust (been going since 2013.
The Greenwich Community Trust is the bigger one (has about 14 sites from Lewisham to Greenwich).
They provide **** loads of food for local food banks and are always after volunteers if any of you have some spare time.

They don't produce a huge amount but are still a good idea. I've just started sowing my own seeds for this year's crop. Allotments have become very popular in the last couple of years, partly worries over Brexit and the price of produce, and there is now a long waiting list at my site.
