Jesus, Peej attempting banter without his carer.

Bit like a deer getting hit by a car isn't it. Just a horrific bloody thud, the animal wriggling about making noises of pure discomfort, awaiting a passerby the put a bullet in it's brain and put everyone out of it's misery.

But instead, we all just sit here, watching it wriggle and squirm.

Let’s think about that one for a minute.

You had your full strength front 3.

Wijanldum an ever present last season, Thiago one of der best midfielders in der Wuuurrrld yano, Henderson started but in the back 4.

Both your full backs started, plus your £75m keeper.

So you were missing Van Dijk, plus AN other CB and Fabinho who might have started in midfield - so that’s 3 players, which if all 3 were fit, you’d have had to drop one of Henderson, Wijnaldum or Thiago to play all of 3 of them anyway.

We started without the injured Mina a first choice CB, Allan, a first choice midfielder, plus DCL our main striker.

The injuries narrative has worn thin bro, as it doesn’t stand up. St Virgil’s last game saw you ship 7, and after he was injured you went on a good run and were top on Christmas Day. But Pickford though.
