Hope the bookies have got it right.
Should Pearson want/get the job it will surely get interesting.
Liked him as a player.

I do believe he would sort this bunch out and give them some fight. Unlike you, I don't think this squad of players is all that bad, they're just absolutely devoid of any form and confidence right now. I think Pearson would address the latter, which would hopefully lead to an improvement in the former. I maintain we only need 12-15 more points to be safe, and right now that has to be the sole focus, survival, and go again next season.

There aren't many from the last few games I would keep:-Hunt, Mariappa, Lansbury, Diedhiou, Nagy and Paterson from yesterdays squad need shifting IMHO.

I think another 11 points will be enough and it will go down to the wire, depends how soon a manager is appointed.
As for the side should we survive, it will be vastly different.
Bentley, Kalas, maybe Vyner as a defender and maybe DaSilva if he learns to defend and beefs up, he doesn't seem the strongest.
I struggle to see anyone else.

I am pretty much with you on that. Bakinson if we could beef up midfield, he needs a leader in midfield to help him. Nothing wrong with DaSilva, just needs to sort his injury woes out.

It's a matter of science; a larger player will be stronger and will have a larger stride, making them superior in a 50-50, aerial battles and long straight head-to-head races.
However, a smaller player (within the range of 'normal' height) will be lighter and have a lower centre of gravity and therefore will have a tighter turning circle and faster acceleration.
The smaller player tends to do better in congested battles where a lot of players are battling for the ball on the ground, as they tend to be 'trickier'.

My only beef with LJ was he brought in so many smaller players which allowed us to be bullied off the ball, if I was a manager my priority would be a 6ft plus back four plus one dominant defensive midfielder.
