Surely that’s enough in itself :azn:

To be honest there are more important dislikeable figures in the industry of saying things to court controversy. Julia Hartley-Brewer, for example.

No there’s no one thing he’s done that is that terrible. He’s not killed anyone. The massive donations he received as a small fry Brexit campaigner were more than a bit dodgy. The Starkey thing was pretty awful but more for Starkey. Since then he’s spent the best part of five years cheerleading for the other right wing ‘commentators’ despite no obvious journalistic ability himself having failed to complete a fashion degree yet working for various mysteriously-funded right wing sites, so he’s in the pocket of someone or at least was until now it’s been decided he’s not needed. Cheers relentlessly for the worst, cruellest Tory policies then cries mental health yet still found time to write something very obviously dog whistling yesterday on people requiring ID to vote. People might not like Femi but he thinks for himself and isn’t trying to get rich by appealing to the dregs of society.

Well he used to be a Lib Dem before the money started coming in to be all shocking and borderline far right. There was the calls for violence in the streets instead of a second referendum. The endless thinly-veiled race baiting rhetoric. Can I not just dislike the **** for being a ****?

Yeah I guess........I just don’t get it

This has got to be a wind up..surely (But probably not).

I really do wonder where my kids are gonna fit in with all this.
They look ‘white’ but are definitely one quarter black, through their Grandad who is an amazing, proud black Trinie........do they have to be ashamed of their ‘whiteness’ and become more ‘black’ ?
If they go for a job that is giving preference to people of ethnic minorities, do they get that preference ?
Can they truly identify as BAME ?
Strange that an act of fate as to how much Melanin they inherited through their mum and me could really affect their future job prospects.

Foreign aid is a real tricky one for me.....

Of course it’s our moral duty to assist the worlds poor and to bring up their standards of living. This also has the added effect of leading people away from fundamentalist activities and makes our country safer....
However it’s hard to justify sending billions to countries that have their own space programme, nuclear weapons facilities and whose leaders and elite live in luxury, especially when we ourselves are ****ed financially.
Genuinely torn as to what to do.

Femi ‘I’m a wally’ is another 2222 that tried to overturn a democratic vote. He has since moved onto other things. Just wants to make a living in the limelight.

The youth of today.......toxic ;)

Maybe. We’ve just beaten a team worth half a contract to some bloke Matt Hancock plays squash with though so I’m in a good mood.

For what it’s worth, I don’t buy the [HASHTAG]#bekind[/HASHTAG] thing. A decade of austerity that has killed **** knows how many people and tens of thousands of avoidable Covid deaths if it weren’t for their ideology. Anyone orchestrating and enabling that can get in the sea.

But then you seem to be in support of an organisation that has austerity at its rotten heart, Brackers. This is what i don’t get......I mean that genuinely.
