That wasn't the case in our title chase.

Finally...as a Leicester fan you must have been over joyed at not being relegated the previous season ... only a plastic twat would not understand why.
That's the same reason why I enjoyed that and the following season... we don't win titles ... just 2 in our history and we've only won 17 trophies in our history (2 titles, 8 fa cups 4 league cups and 3 European trophies) so being in with a chance was great.
I get this is a wum board but am amazed at Chelsea fans mocking us for going 60 years with no title when they went over 50 and had to be taken over by RA and spend an eye watering amount to do so.

I also believe that maybe other clubs of our size were given a belief that they too can emulate our success, as seen by how close teams are to each other this season and West Ham being the perfect example of this ?
I am surprised though that Spurs are struggling atm

We failed to replace Dembele and Wanyama...they were crucial in the 2017 season when we were runners up.
They both got injuries and rapidly regressed.
We never bought players in 2018 which left the squad depleted and we allowed out of form players to remain in the team (under Pochettino with Rose, Dele, Eriksen and under JM with Sanchez, Dier, Alderweireld).
I also think we have the wrong manager.
I think we need a new keeper, a new central defender possibly two, a DM, and a new left back and right back.
Kane and or Son will go in the summer so we'll need to replace them to...
