In fairness to @FosseFilberto both stations are about equidistant and I’ve come away from the Emirates using the Arsenal station before.The game you mention was at the Emirates, so Holloway Rd tube would have been closer .... unless you were going to Highbury
But yes Fos, If you're talking about back in the day, those Gardens on Avnell rd were packed with concessions.
Not so much since was turned into flats though.
