Born in Blackley in 1930 but moved to Leicester as a young boy ... mother's family were United ... might have mentioned before but one of her brothers was in the same apprentice side as Bobby Charlton and Duncan Edwards ... still have cousins in Accrington (his daughters) ...

You'll just have to take my word for it ... but did buy a foot long hot dog from a stall in some blokes garden just as you turned right coming out of the tube station ... you'd know the one being a regular? <cheers>

Oh yeah the random hot dog seller eh Fosse ?

which tube station did you come out of btw ?

Arsenal mate ...

The game you mention was at the Emirates, so Holloway Rd tube would have been closer .... unless you were going to Highbury :bandit:

But yes Fos, If you're talking about back in the day, those Gardens on Avnell rd were packed with concessions.
Not so much since was turned into flats though.

Yeah I reckon that's more than reasonable mate.

Yeah I know right.

Even if it doesn't go well brb got nothing to lose, I just get weeks ban n our board mods will be happy.

Apart from anything I'm curious to see if anyone notices. Maybe instead of 'having a party' we go for 'jelly and ice cream'.

Go on brb, be a pal. You used to love a laugh and got nothing to lose here <laugh>

I met a now retired EY partner just outside the tube station entrance (he had the tickets)... got there 20 mins before the meet time hence the hotdog ...
