Even less for caring ... I for one couldn't have given a monkey's and doubt any of ours did ... we were too busy enjoying the ride.

Same mate. I didn't care that it was Lesta winning the league, it just made it funnier that Spurs bottled it to a total underdog.

So we both enjoyed it in different ways <ok>

All I know is that when we get to go to games again, I won't be paying £50-60 to watch us.
For the three of us it'll cost a minimum of £150 plus £30 travel plus £30 on food and drink.
That's a **** load to be bored shirtless.

I get it for the occasional game but not week in week out ffs

I think football could have a bit of a problem, as you've highlighted. Because those fans that go week in, week out, will be seeing how much money they have saved over the last one and half seasons, and might be thinking whether they can still justify that same sort of investment, once covid restrictions are lifted.

Especially if you are worried about you job (or a family member's job).
Suspect job insecurity, no wage rises and rising prices will get people cutting right back on what they spend.

Yup, folk are going to be re-evaluating their leisure spending in all sorts of areas anyway.

Football could well take a hit

Especially if you're being asked to watch the **** that Maureen serves up.

@brb I've had a few drinks and decided that I'm still annoyed that you changed my title. Or maybe not annoyed, but disappointed.

We're having a party when Mike Dean dies, jelly and ice cream when Mike Dean dies :emoticon-0159-music

You need to chat to your mods mate <laugh> it didn't offend me, although considering the fury around social media at the mo, not surprising.

Goons were top of the league in February that year after beating Leicester...
Spurs were never top...
So gooner boy accuses us of bottling the title <laugh>

Tell me about it mate ... came out of the ground on Valentine's day after their injury time winner against us surrounded by a load of mongs singing Duh-Duh-Der-duh, Duh, Danny Wellbeck as I queued for the tube ... funny coz they were giving it large about how they had just ended our challenge ... little did they know <laugh>
..

Says who bro ?

Southampton mod requested it be removed. I thought with all the bad headlines at the mo, because the refs family got threatened, I'd best move my arse and remove it.

I see Rashford now is demanding accounts be closed down, and although I respect his view, he has no idea what it would involve to tighten up restrictions on platforms such as Twitter.

Yeah fair play. I'm just ****ing about.

Reckon Libby should have a Mike Dean avi instead for celebrating death threats. :bandit:
